Here are the solutions to the most common questions and issues you might encounter while configuring MurFFy.

Why can’t I send my embed / welcome embed / auto-message in a channel?

The most common issue with embeds is that the bot lacks the necessary permissions in that specific channel. Make sure the bot has the following permissions enabled in the channel’s settings:
  • Send Messages
  • Embed Links

Autorole is not working

If new members are not receiving roles automatically, check your Discord role hierarchy. Solution: Make sure the bot’s primary role (the role named after the bot) is positioned above the roles you want it to assign in your Discord server’s role settings. Discord prevents bots from assigning roles that are higher than their own highest role.

How can I add my own command?

Open your server in the dashboard, select Custom Commands, and choose Create Command. You can use the visual builder, write TagScript directly, or describe the command to the AI assistant.
